Service Description

NeatKit provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF files. All file processing happens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers. By using NeatKit, you agree to these terms.

Acceptable Use

You may use NeatKit for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

• Process files that contain illegal content under applicable law
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the service in a way that degrades it for others
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer the service for the purpose of building a competing product

File Processing

All PDF processing happens in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files never leave your device. While we strive to provide reliable tools, we do not guarantee that output files will be free of errors, preserve all formatting, or be suitable for any particular purpose. Always keep backups of your original files.

Intellectual Property

Your files are yours. NeatKit claims no ownership, license, or rights over any files you process using our tools. Since files never leave your browser, we never have access to them in the first place.

The NeatKit name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

NeatKit is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeatKit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, corruption of files, or inability to access the service.

Service Availability

We aim to keep NeatKit available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of NeatKit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
